Parachute Cord
This light weight nylon cord was originally designed for use as suspension lines on US parachutes during WWII. It is now widely used as a general purpose tying cord by both the military and general public. It is often used to fabricate braided lanyards, belts and other decorative items.

- Smooth braided nylon sheath
- Type 1A is coreless
- Type 2 has 4 core strands
- Type 3 has 7 core strands
