Made in CanadaOur customers know that we manufacture all of our rope and cordage products at our plant in Hamilton, Ontario. We are a small business, but we take a lot of pride in providing jobs to the community in which we operate. What you may not know, is that we take our Made in Canada philosophy one step further, by carefully sourcing all of our raw materials as close to home as possible.

For example, the cotton yarn we use in our ropes is manufactured in Quebec using cotton that was grown in North America. Our nylon 6 yarn is produced in Woodstock, Ontario. Even the spools that we wind our rope onto are manufactured in Hamilton, Ontario. If we can find it in Canada, we will buy it in Canada. If we can’t find it in Canada, we will look to the United States first and then further abroad if necessary.

There are opportunities for us to reduce costs, and therefore prices, by importing yarns from other countries. Places that manufacture with low-cost labour in poor and often unsafe working conditions. However, this doesn’t fit with our identity or operating philosophy. Our product is Made in Canada.

We feel good about that, and we hope you will too.
